Alf returning to the dojo was great I am still recovering. For those who don't know me I am a first dan black belt six feet tall weighing in at 260lbs. Shihan alf choked me out in about one second armlocked me several different ways to the obvious enjoyment of the others as they weren't his uke especially the Teal brothers as they photographed me in throws of agony. In all seriousness, it was a joy to watch a real master of the art in his eightieth year showing why he is who he is, and even more amazingly watching watching this man perform a sumi gaeshi counter to a taio toshi! it was a real honour for us and I think that the students who didn't know who this old man was will remember him with real respect hoping that he may take another clas although I think that Danny Teal should be his next uke hahahaha.
